Right now it feels more like Dungeons 2 and 3 with the Dungeon Heart in the middle. You just need to focus on rebuilding the cave so you can pick the routes you want. Also, I was kind of making a joke about how silly it should be if I actually did take offense.

You having a small joke at people not liking spiders in a game like this, not worthy to care about. If you pander to it you just hurt yourself as you will never be free from people that take offense, what you have to evaluate is if the offense is something you need to care about or not. People is always going to be offended, people are always going to hate you no matter what (I work in support and offsite installations, I know people can get really anoyed). Well personally I don't really care about offense, there is no reason to pander to it unless you done something that really warrant it. We realise there is more we can do - but as you said, people who are really afraid of creepy crawlies are unlikely to want to play this game anyway. We're not in the business of being offended on behalf of anyone so we've just had fun with it at the moment. We think we're going to do a version where the hats are bigger and the spiders are invisible. It'll work for some people, it won't work for others. An arachnophobe on our Facebook page suggested funny hats we loved the idea so we ran with it.

But if I was that kind of person to get offended for something like it I really had to ask the question: Why did I buy a game about ants and criters in the undergrowth when I am massivly phobic about them? For some reason it doesn't quite fit in my mind to really have the mode as anyone that is phobic should kind of think before they buy what they can't stand. Luckly I am not that phobic and instead find it rather funny that you put hats on spiders to hide the fact they are spiders. If I was that level of a arachnophobe that I can't stand virtual spiders I should be offended that "my phobia" is being treated like it was some kind of joke.
